Get set for an amazing tour of Luxor – we’re talking about the richest city in the world with monuments from ancient Egypt, and more! At 8:00 in the morning, our friendly guide from Sand Kings Egypt will pick you up from your Luxor hotel. They know a ton about Egypt’s history, so you’re in for a treat!
First, we’ll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, that known as El Dir El Bahari, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt.
The Valley Of The Kings, the site of the grandeur of architecture, which was used for burial, where many kings are buried in this valley.
The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramesses VI, King Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.
Afterward, we’ll visit the Karnak Temple, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Then we'll end our day in the Temple of Luxor, it was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom, and it was completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty.
